My poor German Shepherd suffered very badly after just 2 doses of apoquel and this subsequently triggered hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and SIBO. After recovering her weight back, I decided I did NOT want to keep her on cr@ppy "prescription" diet kibble. This stuff is overpriced garbage! My dog also suffers from environmental and seasonal allergies and itchy skin. Enough is enough and I want to feed her only the best! I reached out to Anya and she spoke to me with a lot of empathy and made great suggestions on what products to use. I was scared at first because my dog was having diarrhea the 2nd day on raw. I called the store and a lady who I do not know the name of spoke to me and gave me so much reassurance and confidence that I was doing the right thing and that my dog is just detoxing. Well, she was right!! I continued to feed my dog the raw cold turkey and adore beast gut soothe and the next morning, she was having small, non smelly stools. Her coat is already SO MUCH softer and shinier. She is way less hyperactive like when she was on kibble. I will eventually have to try the suggestion of adding local raw honey for her allergies. I use K9 Kraving and although the cost does add up a little, the price for these products is the best around and your dog will be so much healthier in the long run. They also carry so many products you will never see in a conventional pet store. They even have safe rawhide, aka cow skin rolls, and raw goat milk! They care so much about the health of your dog and/or cat. I will continue to support this business.

We've been shopping with the k9 shop since 2019 and followed them through every move in Massapequa! After several years shopping with them, our shiba inu, now 12, has started to become uninterested in his food and hadn't eaten much in a few days. So before an expensive and unlikely necessary vet visit- we stopped in and wanted to speak with a sales associate to ask for advice based on our situation. Lina took her time with us, answering all of my questions and never made us feel rushed. We took her advice and switched his protein and the brand of raw we were feeding him, and it's been working! She also reminded us as he ages and becomes less active, it's totally okay he doesn't eat every day. We've trusted k9 shop for several years, but this just reaffirms how wonderful they are.

Love the variety and selection of food and treats and to be able to shop with Danger in such a wonderful dog friendly store! Staff Could not be more knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! I love the fun backdrops for photos and the yearly visit from Santa! We shop for Small Batch dehydrated food and treats, Crumps, Adored Beast Apothecary, dehydrated duck feet, quail eggs, Solutions Pet Products and pesticide-free tick and flea repellent to name a few of our favorites. 11/10

Very welcoming staff who are patient and kind with customers. They are excellent listeners and do not pressure anyone into buying products.The quality of their products is exceliemt - as is the selection.

All of the k9 shops have amazing merchandise! However this particular one seems to be the most knowledgeable and offers the most guidance. Like what foods and how much to feed for dogs with kidney disease and other medical conditions. Frankie in particular was incredibly helpful and every staff person I came in contact with was super nice and friendly also. Highly recommend!!!

We love this shop! Love that I know if they carry the item, it’s a good product! Everyone is always so helpful! And my pup loves going in there to get all the goodies and great scents! Especially his goat milk!

I met the owner on the train, she introduced herself to me and explained the advantages of a raw diet.I didn't have a dog at the time but recently got a Rottweiler puppy named Kodiak. The breeder and my own vet recommended Purina Pro,I had researched dog food in the past for my other Rottweilers and kibble food just has alot of garbage in it. I have Kodiak on the raw diet and treats from the K9 Shop and is doing great and absolutely loves the food. His coat is so soft and has tremendous energy. Thank you for the information and directions on introducing Kodiak to the food.

Everyone of the staff members are amazing and extremely Knowledgeable. They helped me get my dog back to good health. They truly know their products and not just salesmen. So glad we started shopping here.

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and knows their stuff. They have a great selection of raw dog food. It's a little pricey, but it's manageable. My dog's been doing so much better since I switched her to raw food, and I totally recommend this place and their brands to everyone.

Hello, My name is Samantha. I wanted to write a testimony on just how wonderful the K9 Shop has been and what incredible results we are seeing from having my pup on raw. We shop at the Massapequa location. Lucy has been on a raw diet for close to 3 years now. We found an old picture of her when she was still on kibble. In that picture she was only about a pound and a half heavier. With her raw diet, she is 26lbs now and incredibly lean and muscular. She just turned 8 and is in the best shape of her life. My girlfriend and I take her on two mile runs often and walk her daily. She keeps up no problem and isn't remotely out of breath afterwards. If anything she wants to keep going. Her teeth look beautiful due to the cow skin rolls, beef braids and yak cheese that we buy here. Her poops are small and only goes once a day. She has lots of energy and her coat is beautiful, soft and shiney. She is off all allergy medications that she used to be on. That is one of the main reasons we looked into this diet. She loves her food and looks forward to meal time. The only thing I'm sorry about is that we didn't start her on this diet earlier. I guess better late than never. Shout out to Frankie and Danie who have been helping me along this journey with Lucy. In the beginning we had to get the proper portion correct and what food she could eat due to many allergies. They have been wonderful and patient in this process. We love the K9 Shop and are so very grateful to be able to have her on such a great diet. It is worth every penny. Attached are photos.
